Speaker Bio:

Qualifications: MRCOG, MBBS, BSc

Dr Sampat completed his undergraduate training in London in 2006. He strengthened his specialty skills in obstetrics and gynaecology through training in the East of England region, during which  time he became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

He enhanced his experience in maternal medicine, advanced labour ward practice and medical education by achieving the advanced Royal College modules (ATSMs) in these areas of 
special interest. This included two years being trained by experts (Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge). 

In 2018, he was appointed as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist for Dartford and 
Gravesham NHS Trust. Being awarded the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate (Civil Law) (in 2022) prepared him for writing structured reports and to be cross-examined in a courtroom. 

His current practice involves leading a maternal medicine clinic every week. Especially catering for pregnant mothers with complex cardiac conditions, along with 
liver and kidney problems.
